The municipality of Kanfanar covers an area of 59.68 km². This area is divided by Limska draga into the southern gently sloping plateau and the northern part of the hilly slopes of Prikodrage. The municipality consists of twenty-two settlements, the largest of which is Kanfanar, which is also the municipal center. A special feature of this area is Limska draga, which stretches as a deep cut from Pazinska jama from the north and passes through the middle of the municipality, approximately 10 km long, to the Lim Bay on its western edge. The municipality of Kanfanar includes 22 settlements. The distance from the largest city on the Istrian peninsula and Pula airport is 37 km.
